The Basket Filling Stitch is very simple, a mass of vertical and horizontal Straight Stitches.

I like this stitch, especially done in two colors.
This works very nicely, even as a freehand stitch!
Basket Filling Stitch is very useful, it can give a 3-D effect.
I like the sample you worked on your Reference Chart in blue and brown.
I think of this stitch having to be done on cross stitch fabric. You are so clever to prove me wrong.
