What would the world be without friendship? Don't you agree that it is really uplifting to get a friendly comment on your blog? That meeting with (quilting/blogging) friends 'make your day'? That sharing your time, skill, advice, knowledge, or STASH, with others is a great way to build and foster friendship?
I am so very fortunate to have made friends with Åsa and Julie. Both of them have given me generously of their STASH of green fabric, but also of their time in looking for fabric, of their knowledge, skill and advice in things quilting.
Look what Åsa send me, and notice how she has labeled and documented the individual pieces.
There are samples of her own design, of fabric from the USA and Australia, and from many sources in Sweden. Note also how large in scale many prints from Sweden are.
Then I went to visit Julie and in her charming home she had pulled out bins and bins of green fabric for me to choose from.
Thanks to Julie's generosity I now have a lot of small scale and green-on-green prints I felt was lacking in my Trinity Green quilt.
I went home with a bag full of fabric, and a heart full of love.
THANK YOU, my kind friends.

How nice!
these will add to you triangles what a great piece it will be when completed
I didn't notice those bins were any lighter when I toted them back upstairs... or maybe I had become stronger after a good dose of friendship. Thanks for your visit and the joy you brought. Any time you need more....
You have some lovely friends, the materials that you have been given are lovely and will be just the job for your quilt.
Gosh! The memories your quilt will hold! What kind friends, and so many different greens!
It's been such fun to watch this quilt grow!

Absolutely what you wrote :) I am so thankful for friends, and friends through blogs especially! I am always encouraged by your posts Queenie! Thank you!
Friends sharing fabric and stories, thanks for passing that on.
Two very important things for a quilter!
When you share an interest it is easy to make friends, even if you never meet in person, live on opposite sides of the Globe and are separated by other things.
With each addition of a new fabric the quilt grows more dear to me.
I am so fortunate, I have MANY lovely friends!
I helped myself to 72 pieces!!!! so the bins MUST have been lighter. THANK YOU Julie for your kindness. I have now given some of the pieces the scissor and the rotary cutter treatment! They are ready to be introduced to the sewing machine.
The quilt wil have a multitude of patterns and shades of green, and hold so many memories and so much good will.
I am so fortunate, and happy that quilting/needlework has given me all these blogging friends, one whom I met in London!!! Thank you for your friendship, Pamela.
This is such a wonderful think to know. great friends and beautiful fabrics. Enjoy! this quilt will carry excellent memories.
Bloggers who do crafty and creative things often offer advice and encouragement to others, this gift of sharing creates good feelings. I value your comments very much, Chitra.
That's great, lots of new fabrics to use.
The more triangles I have to choose from, the less boring the job of machine stitching.
It is wonderful to have such kind friends.
No doubt you think of them as you stitch, creating happy memories. Enjoy!
Green is a natural colour and with the variations will blend so easily with all you've done to date.
The quilt will be fantastic.
My quilting buddies have sustained me through good times and bad. It is wonderful to have such friends.
