Sunday Stitch School - Lesson 164: Satin Threaded Running Stitch

FromMaureen of  CrazyQstitcher I once learned Satin Threaded Chain Stitch and it became Sunday Stitch School's  #97 stitch.

Today's stitch is a similar one, but I can not remember from where I stumbled across this variation. It is using the same technique, but is based on the Running Stitch.

Work it like this:

Make a line of Running Stitch.

Come up from below, go over the thread
of one Running Stitch without catching any fabric.

Anchor the thread next to where it came out from.

Repeat for each Running Stitch.

Homework:
You have three samplers to add this stitch to.

I like this stitch. So simple and attractive. I have stitched on Aida and will do some samples on other fabric and post soon.
