Easy peasy, but sometimes sloppy!
Canvas Sampler
These remind me of the fletching on an arrow.
Although I used waste canvas these stitches look untidy. One reason is that I stitched in two sizes, but that is no excuse for sloppy work. I suppose the fabric wasn't stretched properly in the hoop...

I like the coverage with this stitch.
It's my experience that waste canvas doesn't help as much as you think it might!
