Friday Homework for Lesson 174: Pagoda Chevron Stitch

 This was quick homework.

I am not so sure, though. that I like this stitch. I much prefer the tidier traditional Chevron Stitch.

I agree with you, the regular chevron stitch is tidier. Nice examples of this one, though.

Yes, your samples do show results of using different weight embroidery threads and kinds of fabric well.
I think the curved middle row of blue Pagoda Stitch on the teal cloth gives a good view of what can be done with it.

I like your samples- they curve well. I prefer the old Chevron as I can do it without thinking..too much unpicking my Pagoda version :-((

It does have a slightly twitchy look to it. I can't at the moment think of what to do with it to take advantage of that, but I'll see whether I can come up with something!
