Here are my four pieces where I have introduced Half Rhodes Stitch.
I started to say the Canvas example was Stunning but found Every example is too. The reds make the stitch pop. Beautiful, Queenie.
That stitch has very elegant results.

It might give some interesting effects to alter the direction of the stitch, so the top stitch alternates / and \.
