For this Wednesday I have just a bit progress to report on
Crazy for Crazy
I attached a button with Buttonhole Bars.
I spent considerably more time on the
Cathedral Windows
The twenty blocks are now stitched together, all by hand, that it why it took such time. Heavy work, well it is 'lead' after all, ha, ha!
This will be the foundation for the front of the bag/cushion I am making.
I have picked out marbled batik for the 'stained glass' inserts. Cutting will start tonight.
More WIP next week Wednesday.

Your “Crazy” block looks great Queenie, love the buttonbar button. It’s all very striking!
Your cathedral windows are progressing nicely. Love the colours you are going to use.

The red block looks awesome. The buttonhole bars are perfect. The finishing in the cathederal windows are again perfect. waiting for the finsihed product.
What an ingenious idea for the Buttonhole Bar button. Love it and the richness of the block.
The batik prints will contrast well, as windows.
I love how you have attached the button. I have to try it. Your windows will be gorgous. The fabrics are perfect, especially against the dark lead fabric.
Great button 'treatment'.
And beautiful cathedral windows waiting for their stained glass, so fun!
Now, that is a fancy way to attach a button! And... finally I have figured out why those cathedral window quilts are so heavy, they are made with lead.
Love those buttonhole bars!
