Birthday Card
I went to a pre-birthday party and was given a bag of fabric scraps as a 'going home gift'. I used one of the Japanese scraps to make a vase which I filled with flowers made from other small pieces.
As the pieces all have raw edges, I covered the appliqué with a piece of net and roughly quilted the layers together.

That's delightful!
Your birthday card is beautiful and clever! Lovely.
And the net is a good idea, an added design feature, right?
The flower loop stitch tutorial is excellent.
I know people love getting your beautiful cards!
Good use of fabric scraps.
It's amazing how you can create such wonderful things with scraps of fabric.🙌
Is your birthday coming soon?
Another gorgeous card!
Love it Queenie>
