WIPW becomes WIPT

I had no time to report on progress yesterday, which was Wednesday, so I have to call it Work In Progress Thursday instead this week.

The report is quickly done, I have only one thing to show, a

Birthday Card

I went to a pre-birthday party and was given a bag of fabric scraps as a 'going home gift'. I used one of the Japanese scraps to make a vase which I filled with flowers made from other small pieces.

As the pieces all have raw edges, I covered the appliqué with a piece of net and roughly quilted the layers together.

Your birthday card is beautiful and clever! Lovely.
And the net is a good idea, an added design feature, right?
The flower loop stitch tutorial is excellent.
