It look like a nice straw hat that is carefully woven. It is said that it is really knitted by the effect of the stitch. Sue can protect the back of the head from harsh diect sunlight.
With all the hot weather the northern hemisphere is having I think I need to make sure I have a good staw hat like Sue for the coming summer down here!
