Time to review the most recent five stitches. Click on the title to see instructions and homework.
131 Interlaced Cross Stitch
Beautiful as a stand alone stitch, or made into an intricate pattern - Indian Kutch embroidery.
132 Dandelion Stitch
Easy and charming.
133 Sinhalese Stitch
This stitch from Sri Lanka looks like a wrapped Open Chain Stitch, but is worked differently.
134 Slanting Blanket Stitch
The name says it all, or should we describe it as an Italic Blanket Stitch?
135 Net Stitch
One of many filling stitches, this makes a nice fishing net, after all, fishing nets ARE knotted!
Homework:
Make a picture of Sunbonnet Sue using the five stitches.
How about something based on this sketch?

Oh! A little teaser! What ever will Sue be up to this time???
I’m not good at guessing how Sue will use the stitches. I’ll look forward to seeing what you do though!
Looking forward to seeing Sue
Those Dandelions are fitness fanatics :-) I enjoyed making all of the stitches and the intriguing scribbles give no clue to me for Sue's appearance. I'm eager to see the result.
Oh, you tease! I'm constantly impressed and entertained by Sue's adventures.
