Friday Homework for Lesson 169: Kerman Stitch

This is SO easy and addictive. Most of all I loved doing the Canvas Work.

I know the Kerman Stitch does not cover all the canvas, nevertheless, the void adds a nice touch.
Imagine you had a coloured canvas, or painted it before stitching, and then stitched in a contrasting colour, you would get a true colourful effect.

I like this stitch on the canvas. It creates a very nice pattern.

Yes, on a coloured canvas you could make really good use of the uncovered areas!

Great samples and the Kerman stitch looks extremely useful, stacked it looks 3-D, and it could be used for making tree branches or shrubbery, a snow man's arms?
