WIPW - The Same Old Story

The same old story is what my Work In Progress Wednesday report is like - no new project, and the progress on the old projects is just - the same old story...

Freeform Embroidery

Fern, Straight and Lock Stitch were chosen this week.

Log Cabin Challenge
Ten new blocks. Total is 244.

Ten seams were decorated with Renaissance, Gate, Braid, Moss and Y Stitch among others.

Getting closer to finish!

Crazy for Crazy
Only one addition - the Raised Daisy Ring. Metallic thread is surely tricky to use!

Tvistsöm Cushion
A few new lines...

I think you've made great progress, but completely agree with you about metallic thread, it's a nightmare to use. It looks wonderful though, so is worth the effort.

It might be the same pieces to work on but the embellishments are far from the same. Do you ever think you will try every stitch there is?

Metallic ribbon thread is one of those that looks lovely but every time I use it I wonder why I put myself through the experience!

244! Wow! I agree about the metallic thread, but it does look pretty.

By Golly! What a beautiful metallic flower you created. It is a hard thread to use but you have done it to perfection. The Log Cabin blocks are looking good. I don't think I've ever seen one of these quilts embroidered with separate stitches as you've done. Love it!

I just love your crazy quilt hexagon with the raised stitches and the beaded piece. Almost done with the Log Cabin! Whatever will you do next? (PS. I guess we're not going to be able to have a Show and Tell in person next year... How shall we do the grand finale?)
