WIPW - Nearing the Finishing Line

Work In Progress Wednesday.

My snails on
Trinity Green
are slowly nearing the finishing line.
I have endured the heat and quilted 10 lines. The count now stands at 32/37. Five more to go! I can almost see the sign 'Finish' somewhere in the distance.

If not the sign, you can surely hear the crowds cheering you on!

It will be winter before we know it and you'll need this quilt!

Good for you! Cheers!
I think those 'snails' look more like waves.
Lovely colors too.

Oh, I will keep my ears pricked up!

...and every time I see it I will think of the sweltering summer!

You are right, they DO look like waves. When they come out of the machine they are vertical, so they must come from a tropical storm.

you will be lost when this project is done as it has kept you busy for a while now, can`t wait to see the quilt all done

I will be HAPPY when this project is done! As I am chasing the last rout of snails (apparently this is the collective noun for snails) across the quilt, I will be planning my next project!

I am beginning to see the end of this endless quilting project. I really want to have it done with!

It isn't far now. How are you going to bind the quilt?

Queeniepatch said...

It is indeed nearing the end.
I will use a simple binding, no border or prairie point or other fancy stuff.

Beautiful! This is such a labor of love. I look forward to seeing your finish.

Very soon. I have posted the second last WIPW report today, and hope to show the completed quilt next Wednesday.
