Sunday Stitch School - Revision: Stitches 266 - 270

Here is a summary of the latest group of five stitches. Click on the title to see the instructions.

266 Laced Back Stitch

It is so nice to add something to a basic stitch! This is an easy addition.

267 Plaited Stitch

This stitch was easier to do than I first thought. It looks especially good when worked in contrasting colours or types of thread.

268 Donut Drizzle Stitch

It's a beautiful stitch, but a bit tricky to give it a perfect shape. It's delicious, though!

269 Queen Stitch

Easily made on Aida, you will get this even result.

270 Spaced Buttonhole Filling Stitch

This is another basic stitch that looks upgraded simply because of a small adjustment, in this case, the spacing.

Homework: Let Sunbonnet Sue illustrate the five stitches.

I have a busy week ahead of me and won't be able to complete this homework, nor the WIP report, by next week. The last block on the Green Man Quilt will also be lurking in the shadows for a while more. See you in a fortnight.

I hope everything goes smoothly and you can enjoy a bit of stitching time. I can't wait to see what Sue gets up to this time!

I like your chosen stitches, beautiful and able to fit into different situations.
You will have lots of time to plan your projects.
That's what I do when I have no time for stitching, I think and plan about the next steps or stitching on my projects.
Have a great day!
