Friday Revision Homework - Stitches 56 - 60

Here is my homework for the most recent five stitches I've learned at Sunday Stitch School.

The linear stitch, Knotted Running Stitch, is rather knobbly so the outline of this Sunbonnet Sue picture is a bit jagged.

56 Detached Twisted Chain Stitch
57 Figure-Eight Knot Stitch
58 Twisted Shell Chain Stitch
59 Knotted Running Stitch
60 Petal Stitch

were used to show what Sue does on Saturday mornings.

Well, maybe it is suggesting a textured fabric for her coat!

It is supposed to be the slippery nylon smock you are covered in at the hairdresser's.... and textured fabric would be no good. Well, see it this way, she's got textured legs, too! Varicose veins?

This is fun, Queenie.
Sunbonnet Sue certainly lives a well rounded life.
And you've put all those stitches to good use.

Aah! Yes! What else would she do on a Saturday morning?
Lovely use of those stitches!
Gorgeous picture, as always!

That is super cute. Great use of stitches.

These stitches were difficult to use for this picture. I should have thought of Sue in a garden or at the florists with all those detached and structured stitches.

Yes, she loves pampering herself!

Thank you, but it was a challenge to use the stitches this time.

Your challenge certainly paid off this week. Sue looks to be quite pleased with herself. Hasn't the Twisted Shell stitch worked well on the dryer. Everything is great.

Yes, I think the dryer is the best part of this scene.

Pefect use of these stitches!

I like the picture, but it was difficult to use these five stitches for it.
