Friday Homework for Lesson 44: Mille Fleur Stitch

Here is my homework for stitch #44, Mille Fleur.

I wanted it to look like the background of flowers on a tapestry.
Later I will add something in the centre, either a bead or some French Knots.

That is really beautiful, Queenie.
I love those scattered flowers, very fun.

Thank you.
It is not a difficult stitch, but it does take time.

This is so sweet! It does look like tapestry. The threads are so colorful.

Well now, aren't these pretty. The threads have a lovely shine to them - are they perle threads?

It was fun to use the variegated threads for this stitch.

Yes, every one is perle, and I agree, they do have a lovely shine.

Lovely. It does look very like Italian milefiori!

Thank you. I am rather pleased with the result. This stitch looks good in variegated threads.

Pretty flowers! How about some (beaded) drizzle stitches in the centres?
