It is a hot summer here and my Work In Progress Wednesday, is just a short report.
Why not head over to Sharon's WIPW to see more eye candy from others, as well as what she wrote about various uses of her cz stencils, mine one among them.
Kafferepet
I have made two more stray stems by using my cz stencils and TAST stitches #27 Basque Stitch and #20 Butterfly Chain
Then I played with the #73 Wrapped Coral Stitch on the edge of the rose petals. There are some Pistil stitches and Colonial Knots, too.

So very lovely! The fancy stitchery really sets it all off!
Beautiful!!! Love the colonial knots and fabric selected for the leaves.
you have done some lovely things with Sharon`s stencils Queenie and the applique flowers have really caught my eye, especially the one with the curled leaf, it looks so alive.
Very beautifulk! Great use of Wrapped coral stitch!
Your work is just stunning
Lovely, as ever, I really like the variegated fabric you've used for the petals on the largest rose.
I like the stitches on your flowers, the wrapped coral stitch looks very nice on the edges.
Watch it, those flowers are going to come alive and grow! It is lovely.
not sure what happened but I know I have commented on this earlier Queenie, love what you have done with Sharon`s stencils, have mine now and did a bit with them before I read the pdf which is loaded with so many great ideas. The flower with the leaf slightly turned over looks so realistic, beautiful
What a lovely addition you have made by using the different stitches, the flowers look great!
The fabric for the leaves is actually a Christmas print. Have you ever seen rose leaves with fir needles!
Thank you Margaret. The stencils are really great for getting even markings.
I loved the Wrapped Coral Stitch so much I just had to add it to the appliqué!
There are three different fabric, one of them is a lovely batik from the States.
This stitch was so much fun to do, I had to keep using it, so it ended up on the petals as well!
Yes, I am afraid they have a life of their own!
Don't worry! It is me being slow in posting the comments and answering them.
That was a massive pdf full of combinations, so I am sure you will find the stencils fun to use.
This might become a TASTy coffee party quilt! It is great fun to try to add the various TAST stitches.
I love all the details! I find it hard to stop adding stitches. Do you ever feel like that?
Oh, yes! All the time; I actually have to restrain myself from overstitching.

Thank you!
