Sunday Stitch School - Lesson 372: Looped Stem Stitch

I found the Looped Stem Stitch among Sarah's Hand Embroidery Tutorials. 

Simply by its name, it is not hard to imagine how to make the Looped Stem Stitch and what the result looks like. Just in case, have a look at either Sarah's link above or my picture tutorial below.








To keep the stitches in check, it could be a good idea to set the thread on the back with bond mixed with water. I used a cotton bud

They are individual stitches; the Looped Stem Stitch is, of course, a continuous stitch.
