This stitch is much easier than I first thought. Unfortunately, I don't think it is particularly attractive.

I wonder where I will use this stitch... and how on earth am I going to use it for the Sunbonnet Sue sampler... Some stitches give you a headache!

I wonder how to use this with Sue also! You have a good imagination and I’m sure you will come up with a good idea.
Maybe play with the angle of the "crown effect"? Or exaggerate the length of that part of the stitch?
