Today I have a real treat, Mosaic Filling Stitch, which I found at Kimberly Ouimet's blogspot.
It is easy to do and looks stunning.

In this version, I have used three colours to clarify the three steps, 1) Straight Stitch, 2) Back Stitch and 3) Cross Stitch.

Yes stunning and I like the colors you used to emphasize the steps.
Your samplers look good with the added Rhodes Stitches and with the other stitches they are a treasure chest.
It's definitely a nice looking stitch. There seem to be many possibilities.
