WIPW - 8 at a time

Work In Progress Wednesday, here we are again in the middle of the week. These Wednesdays come along so quickly!

Trinity Green
I started making 8 strips of paper at the same time to speed up the process.
Since last week I made 337 triangles and the total now stands at 741.

Unfortunately I had to shelve this project for a week to be able to do the bonsai block for the Partnership quilt project.
However, I can give you another teaser, a small detail of the sketch.

I really like the green triangles! Are you stitching these down by machine?

have not tried making triangles like this before not sure how you do it but I am sure t is a very accurate way to get them perfect. Teasing us with your bonsai

Oh, yes! No way I would be patient, or accurate enough, to do this by hand!

I was lucky to find time to work hard on this. May my good fortune continue!

Oh, Julie, you have lived long enough in Japan to see what this is part of!!!

OK, I'll try to photograph the process for next week's WIPW report. The result is usually accurate, but the placement of the pieces is kind of 'backwards' and can lead to mistakes that have to be unstitched...
I'm not teasing your with my BONSAI. The sketch is of something very different!

I am already getting bored with machine piecing! Do you ever use a sewing machine? It is fast, but not relaxing nor fun!!!

Wow Queenie.....your colorful triangles are just nice.....oh !! yes, I use sewing machine but not for a long while because my back hurts me :(
Have a lovely day,
Isa

Fun plans here, I'm looking forward to see how it all comes out.

Yes, you are right, sitting for long at the machine one gets back or neck ache. It's important to listen to the body and take a break from time to time. Luckily I only have short spurts of time to sew so plenty of natural breaks, ha, ha!!!

I did some more work on the sketch and will soon be ready to prepare the fabric.

Oh I like those triangles. I have to make a pieced cushion for my patchwork group Xmas present. You are giving me ideas! But, I don't have a clue what the other piece is.

The triangles will eventually turn into a green quilt and I just hope I have the patience to do it!
As for the other project, HC, I will not disclose the full picture until the very end. It will continue to be a TEASER, sorry, Carolyn!
