Work In Progress Wednesday reports on the
Hexablooms'
project.
I have now added every block in row 15 to the flimsy, which is almost covering the entire glass wall.
The blocks for row 16 are prepared and laid out in the order they are to be assembled into a long line.
Once that is done, that long line will be stitched onto row 15.
The blocks for row 17 are still in the box, most of them have not yet been basted over hexagon templates or assembled into blocks.
I will try to work as hard as possible during the rest of the rainy season and the hot summer.Unfortunately, a family member has recently fallen ill. As a result, my share of the housework has increased, thus giving me LESS time for stitching. Sigh!

Heavy rain, typhoo, and earhquake continue, and I'm sure you won't be able to relax. please enjoy sewing at your own pace.

How beautiful is that!! Don't worry about finishing, the Hexablooms are all there and waiting and they really look fabulous just at this stage.

We're still having a cool stretch here. I get out and walk even though it's cloudy because it lifts my spirit.
I hope your family member recovers quickly so that you can get on with your Hexablooms.
Oh, that is in an impressive piece of art! I am sorry you have less time for stitching. Having to do housework makes it even worse!
I hope your relative gets well again soon - not least, you will need the stitching to give yourself a rest from caring for them!
