Crazy for Crazy
where I have picked out a purple button from my stash, and made a beaded Dorset Button.
These will be placed on the block later.
Furthermore I have added Whipped Running Stitch and Herringbone Stitch to two areas.
Progress is slow, I blame the heatwave.

Looking good. That Dorset button is a triumph!
Considering the heat, that piece is looking cool.
Great button and gorgeous block. This color combination is very nice.
Love your Dorset button! Your new block is coming along nicely love the colors.
Thanks!
Thank you.
I have to control myself; button making is so enjoyable.
I hope there are no sweat stains on the block, if there are they will turn into salty crystals and will indeed give the piece a cool look!
I want to add a wee bit more red-purple to add some pizzazz. I am now pondering how and where to add it.
Thank you Shirlee. Dorset buttons are so fun to make, I have to restrain myself. I am now thinking of adding something buttony without the button!
Beautiful stitches added! Your button is gorgeous.
I enjoy your work Queenie!
Love the button!
Thank you. I have added another bit of embroidery since I posted the WIPW report. I'll show that next week.
It was a bit tricky to add the beads, but it will be fun to make other versions of the Dorset Button.
Love that Dorest Button.
I like weaving stitches, webbed circles and so , so this form of 'embroidery' is great.
I can certainly see you are having fun with your stitches. Love, love, love the Dorset Button, and your Whipped Running and Herringbone stitches really are so stunning! You do have wonderful design ideas, Queenie!
Hugs,
Barbara xx
