Friday Homework for Lesson 63: French Knotted Chain Stitch
I enjoyed working with this stitch, but the key is to have the fabric stretched tight in a hoop.

Interesting that it is best worked in a hoop. So many of the chain stitch variations are best worked in the hand!

This one worked up nicely on the curve.
I agree that the Chain Stitch is best worked in the hand, BUT the French Knot will not knot well if it is not in a hoop. (That was mouthful of not knots!)

Yes, it does, and it is nice to know as some stitches don't take curves well.
Nicely done. I think I may struggle with this one as I don't normally use a hoop.
Well, maybe you are already an expert of making French Knots in the hand? Then there should be no problem. I just CAN'T.
