TAST #133 Triple Chain Stitch

What a delightful stitch TAST (Take A Stitch Tuesday) #133 is. Called Triple Chain it is of course made up of three Chain stitches. It makes such a beautiful braid like line and it is easy to stitch, too!
Learn it on Pintangle.

I think I like the one stitched with the multi-coloured thread the most and I like the angled stitches too. I have done this one but I keep forgetting to photograph it.

Nice - neat - colourful = beautiful. I like the long legs of the side stitchs on the last row.

I love this stitch. If you detach it you can make it into aeroplanes!

I really like this one! Especially when it is done on the slant.

You can make it look great in many ways by changing the size and angle.

It struck me, too, that you could make a line of birds flying with this stitch.

I can tell you now that is looks even better when worked in a circle. Photo in tomorrow's WIPW report.

Yes, variegated thread enhances many stitches and this is no exception.

Great idea! Chitra made some beautiful flowers from her detached ones.

Thank you. My favourite is the last row, too.

I like the variegated one too, but have found an even nicer way - worked in a circle. I'll show that tomorrow in the WIPW post.

It is my favourite, too, and the inspiration comes from your stem with leaves (from an old sampler).

Queenie, the pleasure you get from these samples of yours is obvious to see through your great use of colour and such beautifully adept embroidery!

Beautiful stitches!

And yet a sampler is just a piece of training cloth! A bit like your sketch book!
