Swedish Cushion
Here I have made the outline of a heart in TAST #114 Long Tailed Chain (light green), and filled it with #108 Rice Stitch (brown and blue) and #109 Square Boss Stitch (brown and red).

All 121 TAST stitches we have learned so far have been added, although the last ones have no name tag.

I know! I am running out of space!
On the train. I have another long ride tomorrow so hope to add more stitches!
For next WIPW there will be no TAST ref chart to work...
The AC on the train was on full blast, so nice to work in wool!

Now I need to plan what stitches to add next to the cushion.
It felt good to have Rice Stitch and Square Boss in the same spot.

All looking excellent. I can remember trying to do some embroidery on a plane years ago when you were allowed to take sharp implements, but I dropped the needle and never did find it. Hope no one sat on it!

I think hearts often feature in folk craft and it felt right to add one here.
Yes, that is a problem. I never have more than one needle out at the time and try to keep track of it at all times. On a plane I would have a thread cutter instead of scissors.

I had a friend suggest I take a dental floss container if I wanted to stitch on a plane. I cut cut the thread on the little floss cutter.
