Most of my progoress was on making up a design for the second half of the cushion. The only needlework I did was a small area of TAST #51 Raised Herringbone Band

It was fun to use the Eastern stitch for free form embroidery, but actually I prefer when they are worked in a row, especially with beads, like I did on the sampler.
the cards are Beautiful. I like the way you have worked out the candle. waiting for the completed swedish cushion.
I wanted to make use of the Eastern Stitch for the cards, but think it would have been better with beads - but then it is hard to put in an envelope and send by post!

Queenie, Another great design!! Your little grey cells must be working full tilt! I too, like Eastern stitch worked en masse instead of standing out like lonely Daffodil!

Yesterday we had some spring like weather but today it is back to cold wintery rain. Unlike many in the UK I can't see any snowdrops, daffodils or other spring flowers so I had to embroider some!

Thank you for your kind words and I feel very honoured that you would consider borrowing any of MY ideas! Oh, I do miss your TAST Mandalas! At the moment I have no time to make a proper TAST project for each stitch but really like adding them to the quilt and the cushion.

Lovely to see all your different works and different stitches. The candle is super and the Breton stitch on the sides are great and are prooving great patience.
I had this De Haviland thread that is so silky and nice. It shone like copper and would reflect the candle stick, I thought.
