THANK YOU, Sharon for all the hard work, inspiration and enthusiasm in teaching us all these wonderful stitches.
You can guess from the name that this is a beaded version of last week's stitch. The bead really sits nicely in the middle, don't you think?
Here is a picture of my work on the 100 stitches we have learned, loved and maybe not liked so much:
I really enjoyed adding #15 French Knot and #19 Bullion Knot to my stumpwork portraits.
I was thrilled with the striking result of the simple #34 Pistil Stitch
#63 Scroll Stitch instantly made me want to write a letter.
Algerian Eye #29 gave me a headache - why? Because the eye gets so crowded, I guess.
I am most pleased with these two pieces, the dress worked in #42 Open base Needlewoven Picot, and the cardigan in #43 Magic Chain Stitch, although that took a LONG time to make!
Now I don't want to put any pressure on you Sharon, but I do look forward to the next 100 stitches!
I hope at least one non-TAST member has been inspired to join in the fun. Click here to read all about it on Pintangle.

The beads on the Eastern stitch are a perfect fit. It was good to see your past work again, I was trying to work out which was my favourite but they are all so nice especially the stumpwork ladies, the scroll stitch text and the clothes.
If only I could remember all the 100 stitches! I never thought a stitch could evoke such feelings, but I have felt elated, pleased, confused, frustrated, inspired to do more and bored. Isn't embroidery fascinating!?
It is great to reach number 100. I love you pics from the past. Mine are in a box somewhere, I hope I find them again.
how good to see all the stitches Queenie, such a variety and all beautifully done, maybe I will have a go and work through them again as I love what you have done. I so agree embroidery is such a wonderful thing to be doing, we learn every day, mind you I also forget a lot
Love your strumpwork ladies very life like your really good them .
I like them too, it has been so rewarding to use the TAST stitches here.
I feel very happy that I have worked every one of the stitches and been loyal to my commitment. It has been easy as embroidery is so enjoyable!
Once your house is renovated and you start shifting the boxes you will find all your treasures.
It is super to see all your TAST work together, well done.
I agree, the beads behave nicely on the beaded Eastern stitch. Thanks for sharing a few of your beautiful TAST stitches. I enjoyed following you on your journey and look forward to see what you're going to do with the next TAST stitches!
Thank you. It was a bit of a reunion to unwrap the pieces from their tissue paper and realising just how many things I have made, and that I haven't made any 'projects' for a long time.
I find that not only have I learned a 100 stitches, but I have seen 100 times how they can be used in ways I had never thought of. YOU have provided some of the best insights into this. Thank you, Annet. Let's have fun with all the new tricks Sharon will teach us.
Wow Queenie, all those stitches; wonderful and well done! I think my favourite has to be the cardigan. What patience you must have had, but well worth the effort.
I like the Beaded Eastern stitch too.
Because the cardigan is so small and worked in one strand of DMC floss it did take a lot of time and patience - but I like the result!
What a wonderful post, Queenie, I love to see your creations again. I love the portraits and the dresses and the collection of it all. So interesting.
Thank you, Anneliese. It was nice to see them again, but I regret I have not made more 'projects' with the stitches. Give me more time, someone, please!
Your stitching is beautiful! I never imagined that there are so many possible stitches! You must have great eye-sight. My eyes get tired after a simple back stitch... Maybe I need new glasses (again).
We have been promised another 100! and then there is the Sadsako Totsuka collection of maybe ANOTHER 100 stitches - I think there is no end to this...
I use 'sewing glasses' for this work, and sometimes a magnifying glass, but of course my eyes get tired so it is important to take breaks and look up and far away in between.
It is great to see all your work together. Congrats! All the best for another 100 stitches and another 100 stitches too!
Oh, I hope we can learn many hundreds of more stitches! I wonder how many thousands of combinations and variations you will come up with Chitra. Let's have fun!
