TAST #77 Woven Cross Stitch

TAST #77 Woven Cross Stitch is not new to me, but a stitch I like working with and looking at.
Time has restricted me from doing an elaborate design so I just made a grid:

I am sure you will find many more interesting samples of what you can make with this elegant cross stitch over at Pintangle.

Your design maybe simple but it is still nice!

This looks very nice, the open spaces add to the design!

Thank you.

Sharon called it negative space, I think? and it is a good way to make the eye leap to a new area.

These cross stitches are thick and have structure. I am not sure that they would look good on a traditional cross stitch pictorial embroidery, but for stray stitches they are great.

They are rich and full of structure. Love to work, too.
