This week we have a variation of last week's TAST stitch.
It's called Woven Zig-zag Chain and is the #75 TAST stitch. Sharon at Pintangle is helping us build a real stitch library! It is never too late to join in the fun and learn a new stitch. Click here for more information and to use the links in the Comments to see work from other members. There is always so much to learn from the other participants.
I used my cq stensils to mark the heart and the star. The design is not advanced but the stencils make the marking work so easy. I can recommend them warmly.
So this is what I made, entirely in DMC Perle 5. The only odd stitch is the Colonial Knot in the centre.

Aren't you creative!
There's a lot of work in this heart! I like it.
This is really pretty. The colours work well together.
In this case, not really, but the stitch is so attractive in itself a simple pattern was the best I thought.
Well, once you have made the chain stitches, the actual weaving is meditative and relaxing, so it doesn't feel like work.
Thank you ,Lilian. I once saw red and aqua as an odd combination, then realised the contrast is attractive.
The stitch makes a nice decorative outline.
Yes, isn't it nice for a bold outline?
It is lovely sampler..

Pretty and colorful!!!!
so agree Queenie Sharon`s stencils are a God send and you have certainly created something great with them
Thank you, Lakshmi
It was fun to make
Thanks, Latha
This stitch has a lot of structure and resembles crochet, don't you think?
What I really like is that it is so easy to make a mirrored image; a curve that looks exactly the same in the opposite direction, too. The clear plastic makes it easy to see how to do this. Yes, a God send!
A wonderful simple design shows off the stitches perfectly.
I nearly missed your beautiful design, you have a good eye for making stitches into patterns!
Thank you, I think this is a great stitch for a bold line.
You are so kind. I love the stitch and also think the colour combination was successful in this case.
