Hi! My name is Florence Queenie Nightingale-Patch. It is influenza season in Tokyo and I have been working double shifts caring for family members and tending to their needs.
Work on the Trinity Green quilt has been put on hold. Hopefully I will have some Work In Progress Wednesday report in a week's time.
Take care and look after yourself, thinking of you. xx
ReplyDeleteThank you. I will take care, but the risk is always there.
Deletewishing everyone a speedy rcovery and fingers crossed you do not get the flu too
ReplyDeleteI just hope the super OAP doesn't catch anything that will develop into pneumonia.
DeleteHope everyone improves and that you don't catch it. Here it is so hot and humid we are melting.
ReplyDeleteI don't particularly like the cold, but I do prefer it to your heat and humidity. I will do my best to care for the others while staying safe myself.
DeleteTake care of yourself so you don't end up sick too! I'll look forward to seeing next week's progress.
ReplyDeleteThank you. YOU too, must take good care of yourself. Use your 'aircon' and rest a lot.
DeleteTake care, I hope you don't catch it!
ReplyDeleteThank you. So far I am OK, but tired and begin to feel as blurred as the photo of the green fabric!
DeleteWishing a speedy recovery for the people you are caring for. do take care of yourself too.
ReplyDeleteThank you. One family member is on the mend, so the workload has lessened a bit.
DeleteI agree take care of yourself. The flu and colds do get around this time of year. I just got over a nasty bug here.
ReplyDeleteSoon you'll have more time!
I hope so, too. Actually I HAVE been able to do a bit of hand work while sitting at bedsides. With a bit of luck I can show some Stitch School homework tomorrow.
DeleteHope your family is better soon.
ReplyDeleteYour kind wishes have already been partially granted! One family member is much better and I don't need to work THAT hard.
DeleteI hope you remain healthy and not contact the 'flu yourself while in the Florence Nightingale mode.
ReplyDeleteAll the best for a quick family recovery too.
Take good care of Yourself.
Thank you for your concern. I have a bit less nursing to do today as one member is up and about. I will try to rest more in between duties, and treat myself to some hand embroidery.
DeleteWell done "Florence"!
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed that you do not catch it!
I had the flu jab this year, for the first time, a few weeks ago, but I've been in contact with someone who had a terrible cough and cold .... now I have a sore throat and sniffles, and am trying to fight the germ off!
Take care!
Hugs, Barbara xx
I am trying to stay safe, but am at the risk zone. It is so easy to catch someone else's cold or flu.
