WIPW - Trinity Green on Hold

Hi! My name is Florence Queenie Nightingale-Patch. It is influenza season in Tokyo and I have been working double shifts caring for family members and tending to their needs.

Work on the Trinity Green quilt has been put on hold. Hopefully I will have some Work In Progress Wednesday report in a week's time.

    1. I just hope the super OAP doesn't catch anything that will develop into pneumonia.

  3. Hope everyone improves and that you don't catch it. Here it is so hot and humid we are melting.

    1. I don't particularly like the cold, but I do prefer it to your heat and humidity. I will do my best to care for the others while staying safe myself.

    1. Thank you. So far I am OK, but tired and begin to feel as blurred as the photo of the green fabric!

  7. I agree take care of yourself. The flu and colds do get around this time of year. I just got over a nasty bug here.
    Soon you'll have more time!

    1. I hope so, too. Actually I HAVE been able to do a bit of hand work while sitting at bedsides. With a bit of luck I can show some Stitch School homework tomorrow.

    1. Your kind wishes have already been partially granted! One family member is much better and I don't need to work THAT hard.

    1. Thank you for your concern. I have a bit less nursing to do today as one member is up and about. I will try to rest more in between duties, and treat myself to some hand embroidery.

  10. Well done "Florence"!

Fingers crossed that you do not catch it!

I had the flu jab this year, for the first time, a few weeks ago, but I've been in contact with someone who had a terrible cough and cold .... now I have a sore throat and sniffles, and am trying to fight the germ off!

    Take care!

    Hugs, Barbara xx

    1. I am trying to stay safe, but am at the risk zone. It is so easy to catch someone else's cold or flu.
