Friday Homework for Lesson 5: Ermine Stitch

Here is the homework for Lesson 5 of Sunday Stitch School - Ermine Stitch.

I made two cards that I will insert into two window cards and send as  Season's Greetings. The cards can be pulled out and hung in the tree.

The Ermine Stitch was easy, fun and fast to make. I highly recommend you to try it.

      I think these stitched cards with a hanger can be inserted in a window cards and if you want used as a tree decoration.
      These cards are so small they are the perfect way to practice the Sunday Stitch School stitches.

      Well some people hang their greeting cards over the mantlepiece - here is another way of showing your cards.

    I am really inspired by these cards. I think something like this would be a great "Start Stiching" or "Children's Class" for 2017. That little seed has been planted, thanks.

      I wrap the embroidery around aa card and stretch stitch them, that bit is a slightly tricky for young ones. with a blanket stitch or felt backing you could easily make a card, too, Good luck.

    I like that idea. I made six blue and white coasters for the Blur and White store in the Juban and they are decorating a tree in their shop window.
