As I have explained before, I want all the TAST stitches in one (private) collection and will give them the chronological number in the order I learn them. So now it is time for Sorbello Stitch, which I will call TAST #152.
That goes for me, too. I have seen and tried out the stitch before but did not know the name. To me it reminds me of the knots I had to learn as a child (we had a yacht).

I didn't know the name of this stitch, but I have used it before. To me it looks like a pretzel on a cross stitch. You have some nice samples.

DeleteSorbello stitch is a lovely little knot stitch, isn't it!
ReplyDeleteIt is, so fast and easy to do, and you can fill a large area quickly.
DeleteThe stitch alters with different sizing and threads also. The 2nd one, blue with shiny thread is really pretty.
