Well, I fold the flimsy and keep it in a large flat box which is balanced on my knees, but yes I do sit on the floor. Knees are holding up, so far! Don't forget to watch TV tomorrow! Partnership quilt coming up!
As I can listen to an audio book at the 'excavation site' I AM having a ripping good time. It is quite fun to see the fabric from the back, and try to guess which one of the prints it is.
no comment indeed :) I so enjoy and am encouraged by your work, and your blogging. Thank you always for stopping by my blog to leave a comment - oh what an encouragement you are to me!
You are too kind! Blogging is great - it is an outlet for one's creativity, it helps to spure oneself on (must finish this project before Xxxday for my weekly blogpost...), lets you share ideas, introduces you to fellow bloggers and most of all it spreads LOVE between people via the comments. Thank YOU for always supporting ME. Happy quilting!
I have done it! I ripped a seam open and will have to stitch it together by hand. What a bother! Yes, I will have to pay more attention to my ripping in the future.

You are so funny! Are you doing all the tearing on the floor? I hope your knees hold.

It must feel like being and archaeologist, slowly picking away at the surface to reveal the treasures beneath. Have a ripping good time!

DeleteIt must be very satisfying to see the cleared patch growing!
ReplyDeleteIt is!
DeleteWow! a good progress indeed.
ReplyDeleteSlowly the green is emerging. Seeing the result feels good but the actual work is a bit boring.
DeleteI agree, revealing treasure and the satisfaction of seeing progress, that's a good thing.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.
It is a slow process, but it does feel good.
DeleteIt must be satisfying as each of those papers are removed, each paper equals one less to remove.
ReplyDeleteYou are so right!
Deletecan`t wait to see this completed it has been such fun following your journey happy ripping
ReplyDeleteIt will take another couple of WIPW reports before all the paper is off.

if only I lived near you - I love peeling off the papers!!
ReplyDeleteHa, ha! I and Stephen Fry (reading Harry Potter) are doing fine, but work slowly.
DeleteMy greatest fear when doing this is that I will catch the stitching and unpull part of that at the same time. Slowly is the best way to do this job.
