WIPW - Hangover?

It might be the hangover after Easter, or the sudden heatwave in Tokyo, or the backlog of work, but something has hampered the WIPW (Work In Progress Wednesday) this week.

Trinity Green
Only a few more sections have been added to the flimsy.

Greeting Card
In stead I spent a couple of hours making a greeting card, but can not reveal its design yet. So here is an out-of-focus teaser:

I hope to have much more to show next week.

  1. I often hear about students with hangovers (or over hangers as some of them say). I was going to be very surprised if you wrote you had that! Every bit is progress and this quilt top is looking great.

    1. I was trying to be funny, and say I had an excess of Easter (reflecting, exchanging greetings, cleaning, cooking, baking, eating, decorating, clearing up....)

  2. Now I'm trying to visualise your out-of-focus teaser _in_ focus!

    1. I didn't realize there was so much purple in the marbled fabric; when I bought it I thought it was all green... but maybe it is good to add a bit of variation in the sashing...

    1. The embroidery on the card is made in wool so it was very easy to make a fuzzy picture!

    1. I like the different style sashing on TG.

I can see the out-of-focus card better without my glasses. LOL

    2. You see can see the blurred image better without your specs? I will have to try that trick!

  8. Every added row will make it grow. Now, that almost sounds poetic!

    1. It is not poetic when you realize you have made a small mistake and have to rip and re-sew some seams!
