Although all the TAST stitches have been worked into this sampler, there is more work to do:
I will redo #22 Buttonhole Wheel Stitch
I will try to remove an unfortunate stain
I will work some lettering in the small spaces left between the ten blocks at the side
I will stretch the fabric
I will turn over the edges and hem them
I will add a backing and hanging sleeve
There will still be some weeks of TASTy Tuesdays.

ReplyDeleteNo, it will get a hanging sleeve and escape the cold glass and the hard frame of a picture frame. (That way it is easier to store it when not displayed.)

Yes, it does have a Celtic look. It also resembles the Pekinese stitch (TAST #31 http://queeniepatch.blogspot.jp/2016/06/tasty-tuesday-second-helpings-29-35.html)

Well done. I stopped at 100 stitches. I hang my sampler on the back of the wardrobe door. In fact the wardrobe has 2 doors, so perhaps I should stitch those other 40 stitches.
