A birthday card

I made another embroidered birthday card.
It was nice to work with other colours than green!

  1. Ha, ha, Carin, that's ok, no green. It is beautiful nevertheless.

    1. Thanks, Margaret. Unfortunately it got stuck in the security checks on entering the UK so it did not reach 'someone' in time, sigh!

    1. Unlike your perfect stitching, these stars are rough, warped and truly free form stitches. I might have to make a book cover next!

    1. It's fun to make small birthday cards; you don't need a lot of stitching to finish it. My friend was very happy with it, but it was delayed because of security checks.

    2. They thought it was "small bombs" or too hot stuff for someone who is going to be a year older. Very very high security.
      beads?Metallic threads?

    3. Yes, they do look like explosive balls, or fireworks, don't they? No I guess ALL mail is being monitored and scanned and there was such a back log, the card did not arrive on time.
Hur har du det? Fullt upp med nål och tråd, stickor och garn?
