Here is another lovely member of the Buttonhole family, TAST #101 Triangular Buttonhole Stitch.
I have used a # 4042 variegated DMC Perle 5 for the top row and DMC Perle 5 in green #704 for the second row.
This would make a beautiful edge or border stitch. If you want to learn how to make it, head over to Pintangle and let Sharon teach you. Free and fun!
Nice examples. I think this would be a great edge. I need to catch up on my TAST stitches!
ReplyDeleteThis stich is easy to do and looks great. Please try it!

DeleteVery interesting stitch especially with the variegated thread
ReplyDeleteIt is easy to do but looks quite striking, don't you think?
DeleteI like the way the variegated thread makes this look.
ReplyDeleteVariegated thread can turn any mundane stitich into a stunner! Here you have a stunning stitch in a stunning thread so the result is doubly stunning!
DeleteLovely examples. It's always surprising to see how variegated threads can change simple or even complex stitches.
ReplyDeleteThis is a fun and easy stitch and I am now going to try out the beaded version.
DeleteThis one looks interesting, I will try it out. I like the way the variegated thread looks too.
ReplyDeletePlease try it out. It is easy to do and of course you can change the angle of the vertical bars. Next for me is the beaded version.
DeleteWhen I find my needles and thread I am going to have to try this one.
