WIPW - It's Really Not This Gloomy

This is the last Work In Progress Wednesday report for 2024.

Today is Christmas and leading up to today I've been too busy to make any progress apart from work on the

Hexablooms

whose collection now has reached 230 flowers - I have stitched another ten blocks.

Having used up most of the Christmas fabric I just picked pieces at random and ended up with these gloomy ones. The week has been good and I'm enjoying the holiday so there should have been brighter and more cheerful pieces instead of all the dark and gloomy blocks.

I hope to have another set of ten to show on 1/1, but there is no guarantee that I will finish in time.

Now I need to dig up some bright, vivid prints.

  1. Merry Christmas to you! The centers are sparkly, like lights on a tree.

  2. They won't look gloomy when they're in place!

  4. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family Carin!
The 'gloomy' will contrast well with brights. And I see some great possibilities in your current batch.
I've been busy with family and taking time off, I think I have a cold too, so I'll stay warm and rest!
