It's been a rainy and humid week in Tokyo, and I feel as if I have been threading water, also on the stitching front. It's Wednesday again, so time for a progress report = Work In Progress Wednesday. There has been progress, but nothing interesting. No need to comment.

A bit of stitching and a line of braid inserted in the lace.

The yellow lines indicate the eleven new seams, and they include the following stitches

I love the texture of the Tvistsom and can just imagine running my fingers over it. It must be lovely to work on.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful and very interesting quilt you'll have with so many different stitches. I'm stitching an Embroiderers Guild of Queensland sampler of surface stitches and so enjoying the variety of unusual stitches.
I think you are being too hard on yourself regarding progress. Remember that tortoise.

ReplyDeleteIt is nice to see real people working with a plan... and a lovely plan too. Meanwhile I am dithering with chopped wood. I think my roof may be leaking and my brain is growing moss.
