WIPW - Two Projects Only

With the Circles Challenge completed last week, the Work In Progress Wednesday report can only show two projects, namely

Freeform Embroidery
Where I added Fern Stitch, Fancy Bobbin Edging and Herringbone/Closed Herringbone Stitch.

and
Tvistsöm Cushion
where I am currently working on column no 23.

Tokyo International Great Quilt Festival opens tomorrow. I will focus on reporting from the show rather than stitch myself. We'll see what WIPW progress there is next week....

  2. Lovely flowing stitch samples, Queenie. The Tvistsöm pattern is emerging more-so now.
Your colour palette in both projects has soothing tones. Hope you find time to relax a bit now the Circles are stitched.

  3. I like the mix of stitches in your freeform project, they compliment the other stitches.
And your stitching in the cushion project is filling in with beautiful colors. I can see you're being careful
with tension, not getting it too tight.
    Great work!
And the big quilt show coming right up, wow.

  4. These two projects complement each other. Very different techniques but similar coloring. I’m looking forward to seeing you at the quilt show!

  5. Queenie, your embroidery stitches are really very well done.
On the other hand, I did not know the Tvistsöm Cushion that you are making: did you design it yourself? In any case, it will be very pretty.
I hope you enjoy your Tokyo quilt festival visit with Julie and Tanya : I am sure you will spend a wonderful time there : I so would visit it with all of you :)))
    Have a lovely day,
    Isabelle
