Crazy for Crazy
I have just added some beads and couching stitches to this piece of Australian pink lace.
Cathedral Windows
All the 'glass' inserts have been added, all bosses set, but only some of them have been couched with black thread.
I have constructed the bag.
What remains is the lining and handles.
So so so beautiful!!! You are really going to catch some eyes when you carry your bag around the quilt show!
ReplyDeleteThat bag will look very fine when it is finished!
ReplyDeleteThat is one beautiful crazy block. Are you going to make something of all those blocks in the end" I once had a crazy quilt made by my great grandmother and your blocks make me recall her work. I'll bet putting those last colors in place was hard to do on that bag... one hand inside and the other with the needle. Sure does look pretty.
ReplyDeletecouching and bead additions look beautiful for the pick lace. The quilt bag looks lovely! good progress and neat projects! Best Wishes!
ReplyDeleteHello Queenie! Had no idea you were a quilter, just had a peruse and your quilts are wonderful. I love that you have used velvet in them - did you make the one behind your lovely cathedral window bag? How did you make it?
ReplyDeleteYour stumpwork ladies are fantastic, I look forward to more.
Very best wishes,
