Part 2 - Nose
NOSE
Stitch the nose like this:
Continue down the nose.
Pull the thread until you have a nice ridge for the nose.
Make two stitches to shape the end (tip) of the nose.
Next up, Part 3 - Eyes, which will be a longer session.
Isn't it lovely to see how successful simple techniques can be!
ReplyDeleteI think Fay Maxwell has simplified many traditional techniques and made them more fun. REAL traditional stumpwrok needs to be perfect and is indeed impressive.
