For free form embroidery it is good to have a selection of stitches than can bend and twist and curve ans swerve... Also if you are doing 'straight line' embroidery on a round table cloth e.g. you need a stitch that can follow that rounded line. This is such a stitch! Do give it a try.

Looks good! I'll have to try it!
ReplyDeleteIt works really beautifully on a curve - that's very useful to know!
ReplyDeleteI like to test new stitches to see if they curve well, they that stitch is suitable for free form.
DeleteI tried the stitch on Aida and like it. Your curve looks so good I will have to try that one.

DeleteI really do like that curve, and can see some possibilities in using it. Getting the spacing even might take a bit of practice.
ReplyDeleteJulie, this is a very easy stitch, so don't be afraid of trying it. Spacing is free! You don't need the stitch to be evenly spaced.
