As I have explained before, I want all the TAST stitches in one (private) collection and will give them the chronological number in the order I learn them. So now it is time for Whipped Double Chain Stitch, which I will call TAST #148.
Two-coloured stitches are so flexible, and when you use two different threads, e.g a plain base and a fancy metallic for the lacing/whipping, then you have endless possibilities to vary the look.
There are so many possibilities, you can change the spacing, the types of thread, the thickness of the threads, the colours.... I guess on a cq piece you would use the same stitch in so many ways you would never understand it is the same stitch.
