WIPW - A Bit More to Rip

There is a bit more paper to rip off the

Trinity Green

quilt. You can now see the variety of green, and it is the wrong side of the fabric.

Compared with last week's photo:

  2. That makes me think of school where the kids are making paper from recycled paper, ripping it to shreds and putting it in a blender. Today I was ripping paper with the class and it was work enough without having to pick it off the fabric.

    1. I once made 'wash' postcards out of old milk cartons. First we had to rip them into small pieces (which was very hard), then soak them for a long time and finally find them to pulp in a kitchen mixer. Finally the pulp was pressed into postcard size sheets and ironed. HARD WORK! I'd rather rip off paper from my quilt.

    1. It is the back, so you can imagine the variety of green on the right side of the fabric!

  5. You are nearly there. Are you going to use batting or is the quilt thick enough with all those seams?

    1. I will be sandwiching it with very thin batting - after all it IS a quilt!

  6. Goodness! Have you slept at all? You've completed such a lot in the last week. When completed, with all those lovely shades it will look like a sea of serenity.
