Gorgeous! Will these added sides get you through all the stitches?
ReplyDeleteYes, all 140 stitches!
DeleteLovely stitches, Queenie! I especially like the Whipped Long Tail Chain Stitch!
ReplyDeleteWill you display your sampler, and will you remember how to do all these stitches?
I stitched something last year with a "new to me stitch" and already I am not sure how I did it!
Hugs,
Barbara xx
I have previously made a TAST Reference Chart with names and numbers, and I can see the back which helps to figure out how to make them.
DeleteThis sampler will probably be stretched, lined and maybe framed, and then displayed.
This is continually getting more beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThank you. With so many stitches it might become a Conversation Piece among those interested in embroidery.
DeleteBeautiful work, Queenie, I especially like the zig-zag coral stitch.
ReplyDeleteIt is amazingly easy and fast to work, too.
DeleteI like the idea of adding those stitches down the sides.
ReplyDeleteI was first hesitant to do it, but think it will work out all right.
Deletewhat a wonderful sampler of stiitches it is going to be a wonderful reference. Did you see Annaliese`s blog the other day she met up with Sharon. Sad stitching fingers is about to go but must admit have not visited it for ages
ReplyDeleteYes, I read Annaliese's post, it must have been fun to meet up with Sharon. I haven't spent any time at Stitching Fingers recently, either.
DeleteBeautiful stitches. I was glued to viewing the Zig-zag Coral stitch - love your version. It also goes well with the Feathered and Beaded Feather stitches.
ReplyDeleteThe second photo samples are all attractive and prettily displayed.
I had forgotten how fast and easy the Zig-zag Coral stitch is.
