TAST #103 - Beaded Butterfly Chain Stitch

TAST stands for Take A Stitch Tuesday, a challenge at Pintangle, where you can find out more about  this stitch.

We learned the basic Butterfly Chain Stitch a long time ago, it is #20 on the list of TAST stitches.
Here is the beaded version. Neat, don't you think?

I have used Perle 5 and Swarovski Crystal Bicone beads.

    1. I was given a huge stash of beads so it is good that many TAST stitches these days are beaded ones!

    1. Hello Chris,
The Butterfly Chain was fun to do when we first learned it, with beads it is even better! I collect all stitches on a sampler, then try to add them to a project. I will eventually also update my reference cloth. However, it all will have to wait. I'll be away for some time and won't be able to do any work... sigh...
      Icy cold here, still...
      Have fun!

  5. I remember doing the butterfly chain stitch as part of TAST. It looks a lot prettier with beads! I'm really enjoying seeing all of your TAST stitches with beads this year. They are beautifully stitched. Enjoy your time away :)

    1. Thank you, Chitra.
I was given a lot of beads and crystals from someone who no longer wants to use them, just as Sharon started adding BEADED stitches to TAST. Perfect timing!
