More embroidered petals

Here are some more of the bias tape edged petals:

Two of the petals have Zig-zag stitch, an attractive stitch I picked up last year in the UK. It is easy and fun to make and when adding a short running stitch over the crosses it gets even prettier (I think).

  1. Gorgeous Carin and I love the shadow quilting, it really sets the flowers off.

  3. It is a great idea to embellish the bias tape with embroidery. On the picture it seems that you stuffed the petals with batting. I also like the blue tendrils. I'm curious about the whole quilt.

  4. This is marvellous, Queenie. The Running stitch is sooo even.

    1. You are very kind, but my running stitches are NOT even. Moreover they are long enough to be toe catchers! Alas, that is how I quilt...
