WIPW - Step by Step

Here's this week's Work In Progress Wednesday report.

Hexablooms

The backing is washed, and most (all?) of the sizing is gone. I hope the fabric will be soft and easy to stitch.

I basted 19 more hexagons for the turn-over edge.

The total is now 95.

I filled in the whole graph of the flimsy with colouring pencils.

I'll start adding gold to the pure white hexagons.

One embroidery pattern I will go for is the spider's web.

Sunday Stitch School Reference Chart

I added text to the latest chart

and then made a new chart with black lines for the boxed grid.

I now have eight reference charts and more to come, of course.

  1. Everything looks great! I like the flip edge for hexagon projects. You must be very pleased with this big project!
